Solution: Automate was created to help you save money by diagnosing your car problems and tracking regular maintenance of your vehicle. A sign in is not required to use all features. However, with a sign-in, you have access to maintain data and alerts regarding your vehicle! Included in the app is an intuitive system that helps you repair a problem by narrowing down the symptoms of the car. The logo was created with the different tool silhouettes which were combined to form one unified element that stands for fixing a car.
Solution: The Karpeles website and logo were in really bad shape. The Karpeles primary mission is the preservation and educational presentation of the writings of great authors, scientists, composers, philosophers, statesmen, sovereigns, and leaders, from all periods in world history. Going off of this I wanted to bring a sense of discovery and bring the availability of the manuscripts they have to the public. I chose to use black, white and a red accent color. The red was chosen because when manuscripts were written, they were rubricated in red. I also wanted the museum to retain the sophisticated sense it has on the inside of their museums and reflect that in the website design. Check out the new and updated site here.
Solution: This website was created in a surreal dark style to suit the "Kafka style". The monochromatic style was used to give a feeling of loneliness which is how Kafka's books were written and mainly how Kafka felt about his own life. The previous project of Kafka bumpers would serve to lead users to this site. Also included are 3 dust jackets created specifically for this trilogy.
