Is there a secret formula for success? Why do people of equal ability as children differ so dramatically in what they accomplish as adults? Can we predict if a particular fifth grader or eleventh grader or college junior will become an outstanding success?
Literacy Program
The Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum's Cultural Literacy Program passes along to our youth what it views as answers to the mystery of success. The message points out that the daily difficulties, misdirections and errors that we make are no different than those made by everyone, including the most famous names in history. Thus, we will attempt to destroy the myth that all the great historical figures were "born smart".

School Outreach Programs
The Karpeles Manuscript Library provides services to schools from elementary level to university level. The 'School Outreach Program' is operated in conjunction with the offices of Curriculum and Instruction of the local County School System in each museum area. Under this program, a particular topic may be chosen by the teacher(s). The Library will prepare* an exhibit on that topic, which can be viewed at the Museum or taken directly into the school library.

Mini-Museums
Educational exhibits of manuscript reproductions of various topics, whether historical, literary, political, musical, or scientific are available on a on-going, permanent basis. Generally, the proposed exhibit must be within 50 miles of a Karpeles Manuscript Library museum, however, an exception may be made under certain conditions. The Library will provide the exhibit case, if necessary. Such exhibits are changed by the Library every two months.
